The Technology Standardization Engineer will join the Technology Standardization Management (Asia Pacific Zone) organization, the engineer will act as technical expert relevant to Memory Technology and Embedded Communication Technology to support R&D engineers in R&D centers in Asia Pacifica region (China, India, Australia, Japan, Singapore etc) on technology standardization, component solution selection proposal, component failure analysis, design guideline, component technology anticipation etc.

The engineer is expected to take charge of component technologies: Memory (Non-Volatile, DRAM etc), Wireless Communication SoC/SiP (WiFi / BLE / Zigbee / LPWAN-LoRa / LPWAN-NB IoT etc), Network Communication, Microprocessor, Clock (Crystal Oscillator, RTC etc). The engineer will have opportunity to develop expertise on other technologies in future per business need and the engineer’s potential.

The engineer will work closely with other Technology Standardization Leaders or Technology Standardization Engineers in France and US, and the engineer may have to participate national or international business travels to R&D centers, Manufacturing plants or Suppliers.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support to Asia-Pacific R&D teams for the electronics component selection, application, quality issue and risk analysis etc, furthermore propose risk mitigation plan, alternative solution etc.

- Contribute and Promote technical rules and best practices related to electronics component by writing guidelines / directives or making presentation among entities

- Follow the evolutions of supplier offers and technology trend on the market, Prospect suppliers offer and roadmap to identify new solutions for our products.

- Contribute to the definition of the global purchasing strategy

- Manage the corporate component database

- Support and contribute to the Corporate technology standardization project.

Requirements:

- Educational Background: Bachelor Degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Microelectronic etc

- 3+ years of successful experience as Electronic Design Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Field Application Engineer or Electronics Component Engineer on Memory Technology or Embedded Communication Solution

- Solid knowledge on memory component technology (Non-Volatile, DRAM etc), solid knowledge of microelectronic production technology for memories.

- Good knowledge on Wireless Communication Solution SoC/SiP (WiFi / BLE / Zigbee / LPWAN-LoRa / LPWAN-NB IoT etc), Good application knowledge on different communication protocol. Auxiliary power supply design competency will be a strong plus.

- Excellent communications skills, including written and spoken English, ability to work efficiently as part of a worldwide and international team
